Hello Gokeys!

I would like to apologize for the lack of updates on this page; however, I’ve been super busy on the Danny Gokey MySpace Support Team Page and have not found the time to update both sites. If anyone would like to help me out / kind of “take over” this page (I can still help you) please post a comment on this entry and leave a way in which I can contact you. Thanks!

1. THEME:
The theme for next week’s show will be Rock ‘n’ Roll a.k.a. Rock Week. Slash will be the guest mentor for next week. Fittingly, Daughtry & No Doubt are both scheduled to perform on Wednesday night’s Results Show.

Wow! I think I’m on the verge of going speechless.
The arrangement from the band was just superior.
Danny’s ballad was truly like a “story-telling ride” in which he whisked us away. I’m actually thinking of agreeing with Kara on this one … I wouldn’t mind having Danny’s album include Rat Pack-esque songs.
That Danny Gokey performance was by far absolutely exquisite to the ears.

On that note, we are far from the finish line (although Paula sees it already haha). We have a long 3 weeks to go until the finale. Therefore, never take any moment for granted! You saw the competition demonstrate the full capabilities of the other contestants.
WE MUST VOTE until at least one finger cramps! ;D

But in all seriousness, although the judges seemed to enjoy Danny’s heavenly performance tonight we must do our part for Danny.

You already know what to do, Gokeys.

p.s. – Did you see the heart he made with his fingers again while Ryan said his #s to call?!! Wow, what a guy.

Danny is probably one of the few artists that can truly relay his emotions through the song & into you. Whenever I listen to Danny, I feel so exhilarated, so uplifted. Not only is he a very talented musician, but he is also such a genuine individual.
He deserves to go far & beyond what he dreams of!

Taylor Hicks is scheduled to perform for the results show on Wednesday.

Although it is quite sad to see Lil Rounds & Anoop Desai leaving, it is a competition with only one American Idol. Therefore, we should not take anything for granted in the coming weeks. The talent will increase like crazy as the remaining five contestants (including Dan, our man) will be battling it out until the end.

So, we wish “Little Rounds” and “Noop Dog” the best of luck and something will surely come their way in the future. As David Archuleta (who btw, was incredibly adorable!!!!) said, “It’s not the end. American Idol creates many opportunties.”

On that note, we <3 Danny Gokey! Woo Top 5 baby!!

The arrangement was impeccable for the theme and for his voice. Do you guys remember the part when he sang/remixed a part that went “I can see clearly now … etc.” Well, I loved that little alteration!! It was pretty creative on his part.

Oh by the way, in the american idol website forum for Danny a lot of the fans were trying to get Danny to send out a sign to all of his fans, which was to make a heart with his fingers. If you noticed, Danny DID do this! When Ryan was reading his # to call, Danny put his microphone under his arm and made a heart with his fingers!

Anyway, overall, this was stellar & solid for Danny. Although it was amazing (to us) there is definitely heavy competition. So, we MUST vote to the end!

Just keep hitting that redial button! Gokeys, we got this!
